Hey Look. I\'m Alive
I've been living. Life has been chill. I'm trying to get published (ha) but I've actually been doing fairly well on that front. I've gotten several note rejections, which is a step in the right direction. The only problem is finding markets for my stories, because I JUST HAD to write fantasy flash fiction, and slipstream, and almost secondary world settings. Eh, well.
Book number two is coming along... well its coming along. The plot is pretty much planned, the characters have names, and back stories, and EVERYTHING. I just have to finish the stupid thing. I have a whole folder full of literary agents websites (have for years) and it would b
NANOWRIMO!
Alright, so I have embarked upon the awe-inspiring journey that is National Novel Writing Month. Omg. I'm pretty much on schedule, thank god, and chugging out my needed word count each day. My novel is "DreamLand" an epic, YA, Romance, murder mystery, fantasy... thing of awesome that I think will actually turn out half decent.
But, I know I'm gonna get behind, what with college and homework and such. And them I'm screwed.

It Could Happen to You
So I was driving back from the barn, aka where Clancy lives, which is kinda out in the boonies, and something... happened.
The road in particular is long, curvy. A great gray snake flowing into the distance of hills, and there is a long row of overhanging trees spotting the cement with patches of dark gray. Since fall is just folding its skirts onto the landscape, it was as if I was driving under an ornate curtain of red, orange, and yellow.
